| We adopted Kona in June of 2002 from the Minnesota Valley Humane Society. At Argosy University, where I studied to become a Vet Tech, students are assigned an animal they are in charge of during their last semester. That is where I met Kona. He was surrendered to the shelter at 16 weeks of age. Kona is an extremely good dog and has befriended all our puppies and taught them how be good and to stick around. He seriously would retrieve until he died. No one that doesn't know him is allowed to throw the ball for him during the summer. |
