Held at Harriet Island in St. Paul, MN each August, the Irish Fair is a celebration of everything Irish including food, music, dancing, and Native Dogs of Ireland. The festival has a special tent for the dogs where people can come and meet the different breeds. Midway through the day there is a parade of the dogs through the fair and an educational talk in the children's booth. We try to go to this each year with the Irish Wolfhounds, so we can teach others about this magnificent breed. The dogs love it, too. Pascal loves to meet babies (and chew on their pigtails) and Kamille loves to lick everyone's faces!
2010 was our first year without Pascal which was so sad, because he loved to go so much! But also our first year with Jeressa and Naraya who loved meeting everyone!
